We are really please to be part of open studios, but we do have a lot of essential road works, so if you visit this weekend, park in the co op carpark and walk up Laundry lane to number 22.
We look forward to seeing you x @thespoonlady @scottydotty
Good morning people, and welcome back to the weekly update in the world of the Spoon Lady.
This week has seen the end of a successful promotion that ran throughout March, whereby, the customer would enter a code (available from the Facebook page) onto the website and receive £10 off any online purchase.
Look out for more exciting offers throughout the year.
In other news, midweek, The Spoon Lady personally delivered a unique sugar-tong ring to a customer in Norwich.
This month saw the sales in the Norwich Gift Emporium do very well, so, many thanks to the dedicated staff of this excellent outlet.
This Monday, 3rd April, The Spoon Lady will be setting up a display of her work (all available to purchase) at Great Yarmouth library, in Norfolk and Norwich Open Studios Taster Exhibition.
This will run from the 4th til the 8th April, including an launch evening on the 5th, that will be attended by the Mayor of Great Yarmouth.
There will be refreshments available and will give attendees the opportunity to meet the artisans.
Bookings are continuing for the spring/summer period, details will be confirmed on our website and Facebook page, and we hope to see as many of you as possible.
Hi all, and welcome to the new weekly blog concerning The Spoon Lady, her work, her passions, and all updates surrounding LoveSpoons Jewellery.
Three items were sent in the post on Monday, to far flung areas of the UK, and, she made a bespoke ring while the customer waited (always a popular service), as well as putting the finishing touches to some more pinafores, as always, recycled from vintage tablecloths.
This weekend, the 25th of March to be precise, sees us trading at the Fakenham Makers Market.
This is the first trading event of 2017 for LoveSpoons Jewellery, so fingers crossed that it's a good one.
There will be sterling silver jewellery made from original hallmarked cutlery, including rings, bracelets, pendants, and earrings.
The aforementioned pinafores will be for sale, priced between £25 and £45, depending on the size, each is unique to the other.
Just this morning The Spoon Lady has sold another ring, this one made from a pair of small Sterling silver sugar tongs.
This sale was courtesy of our Facebook page, please visit us on here, and browse and buy from our website. We look forward to a good year of trading and hope to see you all.
So I'm having a slow start to the year, doing some stock taking, and will be listing more on the website in the coming weeks, all events for 2017 will be posted when they're confirmed.
But you can always contact me directly for commisions.

This will be interesting, for the first time you will find Love Spoons in Diss on the Green,
Building on the success of the first event in April, the Diss Fair Green Association presents the 2nd “Brocante on the Green”.
For those who aren’t familiar with the term, a Brocante is a vintage and collectables market characterised by the sheer mix of things – mainly old, often antique, sometimes hilarious, sometimes intriguing – but always interesting. At any Brocante worth its name, professionals, semi-professionals and individuals (Brocanteurs) offer the chance to buy vintage clothing, jewellery, china, tools, collectables, linens, plants, bottles, post cards, militaria, ornaments, kitchenalia, bric a brac, furniture, agricultural bygones– you name it and sooner or later you’ll see it at the Brocante!
In April, the stall holders and the bargain hunters alike were delighted with the venue and with each other, with almost every stall holder reporting more than satisfying sales and countless buyers leaving the Green weighed down with bargains.
If you are a bargain hunter, come along on the 20th between 10.00 and 4.00 to support FGNA’s second Brocante and maybe add to your current collection!
